The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all packaging and labeling operations and ensures adherence to all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements. Schedules packaging line activities and oversees daily performance against established standards and schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the filling and packaging of solid dose and powders in bottling, pouching and blister packaging.
- The performance of the assigned Packaging Team, including safety, quality, cost, productivity, and customer service
- Establish and maintain the highest quality standards for each packaging process, as well as for all finished product shipped to every customer
- Establish and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Production and Packaging of solid dosage nutraceuticals
- Meet customer delivery commitments on time, first time, every time
- Responsible for cGMP compliance in all aspects of equipment calibration, packaging process, and batch records.
- Write and update SOP’s pertaining to department activities and review with employees.
- Recommend and implement production process improvements to improve quality, reduce cost and improve safety.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science or similar technical discipline.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Packaging/cGMP environment is preferred
- Blister Packaging, Pouch Packaging experience is preferred.

Responsible for all maintenance operations in the packaging department including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to :
- Perform, maintenance and repairs to packaging equipment.
- Perform changeover and set-up of packaging machines as well as troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical systems and make appropriate repairs to machines. Complies with company policy, SOP, cGMP and OSHA requirements.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on plant equipment such as packaging equipment, conveyors and compressors.
- Assist on equipment installations of packaging and other equipment .
- Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
- Provide guidance to machine operator staff. Willing to operate machines as and when needed.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Education and Experience Needed:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred Experience in maintaining or operating any machines in Tablets , blister, Stick packaging lines is preferred. Previous 2-3 years experience in a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry. Knowledge of GMP standards. Able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsible for coordinating all quality systems.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials for compliance with our Quality standards.
- Inspect product as it comes off the production line
- Release quarantined product for shipping after it passes required testing
- Assist with the approval or rejection of all components,containers, closures, in-process materials, packaging material and labeling
- Assist with the approval or rejection for all procedures or specifications impacting on the identity, strength, quality, and purity of the product.
- Assist to verify all quality related documentation and address all nonconformities
- Prepare/Review Review GMP documentation including but not limited to, specifications, SOP, batch production and control records, test methods and test results and validation protocols.
- Prepare and Keep SOP’s and quality system updated to ensure cGMP compliance
- Work with outside consultant to manage GMP program
- Release quarantined product for shipping after it passes required testing
Education and Experience Needed:
College degree, with a concentration in science, or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of hands-on Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience is preferred. in the Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Recently graduated students with a degree in Science can also apply for this position.

Responsible to ensure all state and federal compliances are met throughout the facility, including packaging, sanitation, production, and warehouse processes. Responsible for ensuring GMP practices in the facility and for creating and implementing standard operating procedures.
